General Manager, South JerseyPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our client's organization toward excellence in member service and operational efficiency. This key leadership role will oversee all facility operations, including direct supervision of the Assistant General Manager, Director of Membership, Director of Fitness, Director of Racquet Sports, and MOD/Social Media Coordinator. The General Manager will be active in the facility, interacting with members and staff to ensure a high-quality experience. This is a premier fitness and racquet sports facility that is dedicated to providing exceptional member experiences through tennis, pickleball, squash, and comprehensive fitness programming.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
• Oversee daily operations ensuring facility quality and safety standards
• Implement efficient processes for scheduling, maintenance, and staffing
• Drive member-first philosophy throughout the organizationStrategic Management
  • Establish and track KPIs for membership growth, retention, and financial performance
  • Develop and present monthly performance reports to stakeholders
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns and member retention strategies
  • Organize quarterly special events for member retention and prospect attractionProgram Development
    • Work with department directors to develop innovative tennis, pickleball, squash, and fitness programming
    • Ensure high standards for instructor qualification and training
    • Oversee social media and marketing initiatives to enhance engagement
    • Promote events and competitions that showcase facility offeringsFinancial Oversight
      • Assist in annual budget preparation and management
      • Monitor revenue streams and control expenses
      • Work with CFO on financial reporting and analysis
      • Attend monthly financial meetingsQualificationsRequired Experience & Education
        • Bachelor's degree in Sports/Recreation Administration, Exercise Science, Business Management, or related field
        • Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in fitness, hospitality, or recreational industry
        • Proven track record of team leadership and operational excellence
        • Strong analytical and financial management skillsSkills & Attributes
