Job Description:

Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the unit- Provide direct supervision and guidance to unit staff- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to patients- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and education- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Assist with case management and discharge planningSkills:- Experience in toddler care, including knowledge of developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities- Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively- Knowledge of health coaching principles and techniques- Familiarity with aseptic technique for infection control- Proficiency in using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems- Competency in medication administration, including proper dosage calculations and administration routes- Experience in maintaining accurate medical records, including documentation of assessments, treatments, and interventions- Ability to catheterize patients when necessary- Knowledge of case management principles and practicesPlease note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills.
