Job Description:
Six Flags internship program offers a unique opportunity for
college-level students to gain hands-on experience in the
hospitality and amusement park tourism industry. As an intern, you
will be placed within an Admissions department and tasked with
day-to-day operational duties that support the overall success of
the park. Through your work, you will develop leadership skills and
provide excellent guest service. You will work closely with a team
of professionals, collaborating on group projects to ensure the
successful operation of your assigned position. You will have the
opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain invaluable
experience that will set you apart in your future career.
Throughout the program, you will receive support and guidance from
the Admissions leadership team. You will be encouraged to ask
questions, share your ideas and take on additional responsibilities

within our organization.Responsibilities:
- As part of their internship, individuals will have the
opportunity to gain hands-on experience by leading a team of
employees and providing them with guidance and direction while they
interact with numerous guests on a daily basis.
- Participate in Team Leader meetings.
- Acquire knowledge about scheduling procedures.
- Collaborate in creating and implementing safety and guest
experience improvements.
- Complete one project benefiting at least one part of the Guest
relations department determined by management.
- Attend seminars held by various departments within the
park.
- Work on a real-world business case as a team project with other
Interns and present your findings and recommendations directly to
Senior Leadership.Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends,
holidays, and extended hours.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather
conditions.
- Excellent human relations and communication skills.
- Must be willing work in all 3 parks (theme park, water park,
and safari tolls).
- Must be self-motivated and disciplined.
- Must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a
timely basis.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding
privileged information.
- Must promote and support a team work environment by cooperating
and helping co-workers.
- Must adapt to changes easily.
- Must tolerate a fast-paced environment.
- Must be sensitive to the needs of our Guests and feel empowered
to act to meet their needs within company guidelines.?
- Requires continuous standing, bending, walking, hand/eye
coordination, lifting, vision, hearing, and speech. Requires
frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color
definition. Requires using a telephone.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs consistently.
- Must be comfortable with heights in excess of 10ft.
